The studio’s new identity encapsulates its core values of connection, integrity, sustainability, and well-being through a sophisticated visual system.
Central to the rebrand is a distinctive wordmark and a star symbol symbolizing guidance, tranquility, and purpose. This emblem reflects Be-Kin’s commitment to collaborating with top craftsmen to bring each project to life with exceptional quality and attention to detail.
Wren Loucks, the Founder and Creative Director of Be-Kin, expressed that the revamped brand identity signifies the studio’s evolution and ongoing dedication to holistic design. The rebranding process involved close cooperation with Ethel.agency, where Barbara J Lewis and Laurence Lassalle spearheaded the brand strategy. Lassalle, who also directed and designed the visual identity, emphasized that the new identity underscores Be-Kin’s thoughtful and human-centric approach, positioning them confidently in the luxury design domain.
Formerly associated with renowned design firms like Michael Peters & Partners and Wolff Olins, Lewis played a pivotal role in aligning Be-Kin’s values of luxury, community, and authenticity with a refined and consistent brand presence across all touchpoints.
Howard Fretten, through his brand narrative titled “The Art of Holistic Design,” added clarity and emotional depth to Be-Kin’s voice. This tagline encapsulates the studio’s belief that exceptional design nurtures both physical space and the human spirit.
