While North America and Europe currently dominate the natural beauty market, accounting for over 80% of total sales, Asia emerges as the fastest-growing region, fueled by a wave of new product launches. The report underscores the influx of both new entrants introducing innovative offerings and established brands expanding their portfolios to include natural and organic lines.

Certification has emerged as a pivotal factor in shaping consumer preferences, with certified products constituting a significant portion of sales in key markets like Germany and France. Notably, standards such as COSMOS and NATRUE have gained prominence, particularly in Europe, with France and Germany leading in the adoption of certified products.

Product distribution channels have also witnessed a transformation, with a notable shift towards broader retail outlets beyond traditional natural food stores. Pharmacies, department stores, beauty retailers, and even hair and beauty salons are increasingly stocking natural and organic beauty products. The online retail sector has experienced a surge in demand, further accelerated by the pandemic.
